My alarm was set to go off at 8:30 this morning and I was up and going within 10 minutes. I had to take pictures of cakes, box them up, and get them delivered by 9:30.
I started by photographing this set up:
And then this cake:
And here’s the other one I delivered yesterday evening:
Anywho – I had to meet two customers in two different places this morning and there was a little hiccup with the second meeting but y 10:30, they were delivered. I ran by the store to grab some milk and bread and then I was on my way back home!
When I got here, the first thing I did was load the dishwasher. Then I sat down, called my sister, and worked on email and some photo editing.
At 1:30 I had lunch and then gave my hubby a haircut and then more computer work. In the meantime, my kids were all taking turns getting showers and my husband ironed all of their clothes… we had family pictures taken this evening and I hate discovering last minute that someone doesn’t have clean hair or feet or clothes…. so we’re took care of business early.
Here’s a snapshot of my kiddos all clean and spiffy 🙂 I can’t WAIT to see the professional ones!!
Anyway, we all got ready – headed out to a low water bridge in the country for pictures (our appointment was at 5:30). It went really well (I hope… we’ll see in a week or two) and the kids all participated and smiled and nobody cried or fell in the creek. Haha!
After that, we headed into town to eat supper at a local restaurant – Thibodeaux’s. We called to see if any of our family wanted to meet up there and Jake & Ariel (my brother & sister-in-law) came with their baby girl and we enjoyed a great couple hours of hanging out and eating some good food!
This is my favorite picture from the night!! Uncle Richy making faces with Perry K!
When we left there, we headed back to our house to watch the LSU/Ole Miss game. Well, they did… I had a cake to do! But it was no biggie – I had done the design before and it only took a couple of hours to decorate the cake – start to finish. When I finished up, and the game was over (our crowd was not happy with the outcome)… we watched a movie! Well…we are watching a movie, so I’m wrapping this up to relax with my family!
Happy Weekend!! <3
