I’m sitting around here on a Monday afternoon doing what we do on Monday afternoons in the Fall… getting ready to watch FOOTBALL!
Yep, it’s football season and that means that every Sunday afternoon, Sunday night, Monday night and Thursday night are spent watching the NFL!
By the way – when did the games start coming so often? As a child I remember watching football on Sunday afternoons and maybe Monday nights, but these days, the games seem to happen so much more often. Is that just my imagination?
Anywho – since we’re a football-loving family, we try to plan meals and snacks that will be easy and fun on football game days and this dip is one that I love!
I can’t remember who gave me the recipe, only that I got it when we lived in Idaho around 16 years ago and I’ve hung onto it ever since.
I think it’s unusual, as far as dips go, but really delicious and addictive! Are you ready for the main ingredient? It’s cottage cheese!
Now I know that cottage cheese is one of those either “love it” or “hate it” foods… me and my kids love it, my husband hates it, but even if you don’t like it, I’d like to encourage you to give it a shot in this dip!
So, are you ready? Keep on reading below for the printable recipe.
And if you have any questions, please leave me a comment! I love to hear from readers!!
