The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing

Have ya’ll read this book?

I’m going to give a very short review. I absolutely loved some of her methods and techniqes and can see how following those would greatly reduce the amount of “stuff” we have in our home.

She’s inspiring on so many levels and I honestly have pages bookmarked to read again so I can really drill-down and learn her method.

Honestly, the thought of gathering all of our clothes or things into one place is overwhelming and I don’t know that I’ll ever do exactly that, but I will adapt her method to better fit me.

On the other hand – some of her techniques or methods are also very strange and I will not be following those at all. I will not be talking to my house or clothes or purse. I will not be thanking them for serving me. I don’t think they have feelings or spirits and wel… just no.

However, even with the weird stuff scattered through out the book, I’d still read it if I had it to do over again and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants and/or need to declutter.

Grab the book here –> https://amzn.to/2Ti4dPW.

Updated – there’s now a series on Netflix if you’d rather watch before reading or watch and read or just watch!
